Sanjay Dutt is all set to reprise role of Sher Khan in Apoorva Lakhia Zanjeer remake. He will be replacing Arjun Rampal.
Having opted out of the project, Arjun Rampal to a popular tables unfortunately I am opting out of Zanjeer. The dates were clashing with Nikhil film. It was getting too  for me. The only window I had this year for Zanjeer was in July. But that got pushed ahead. Now it would be unfair of me to ask them to wait until next year for my dates. Sher Khan is an iconic character. Any actor would be happy to play him
Now that the role has been bagged by Sanjay Dutt, the actor has undergone a complete physical makeover. He has shed 15 kgs of weight, facial skin looks tightened, undereye bags vanished, he looks much younger.
Says a sourcs Zanjeer needs two well-built guys. The confrontation between Vijay and Sher Khan in the original Zanjeer was aggressive and violent but the brawn quotient was missing. Pran saab was obviously not expected to fight bd and Bachchan Saab never took off his shirt. This time Ramcharan Teja and his Sher Khan slug it out bare-torsoed. Thwhy Arjun Rampal with his lithe build was selected. Sanjay Dutt has lost so much weight now. He can very comfortably carry off the hhand shirtless combat with Ram Charan. It would be the highpoint of the film
Zanj remake has Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead rolee film is made in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously.ty
